Mumbai: Mumbai Indians (MI) will be looking to bag another win of the season when they face Gujarat Titans (GT) in an Indian Premier league match here at the Brabourne Stadium on Friday.

Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai, the five-time champions, are rooted at the bottom of the table with just one win in nine outings. A second-consecutive win will certainly give the momentum that the think-tank has been emphasising on.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya's table topper Gujarat will look to become the first team to head into the play-offs.

Youngsters Tilak Varma and Hrithik Shokeen have been in good form - Tilak has contributed crucial runs in the middle overs, while Hrithik has been economical and picked the first IPL wicket after dismissing in-form Jos Buttler in the previous game.

Suryakumar Yadav scored his third half-century of the season in the win against Rajasthan Royals. He is the key to MI's middle-overs acceleration.

Jasprit Bumrah has been menacing, while Tim David took MI over the line in the last game, and Kumar Kartikeya Singh weaved a web around the RR batters in his debut game.

GT captain Hardik has been in-form, having scored 309 runs in the nine matches he has played and is Titans' highest run-getter. David Miller and Rahul Tewatia too have showed stunning performances and played vital roles in GT's success in the season so far.

Mohammed Shami, Lockie Ferguson, Rashid Khan and Alzzari Joseph form a lethal bowling attack.
