Odisha Cricket Association to host Odisha Cricket League

Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Saturday announced to host the Odisha Cricket League from June 12 to 28 next in association with Twenty Century Media (TCM).OCA has partnered with TCM Sports Management Pvt. Ltd. (TCM) as commercial partners for the tournament , one of the marquee T-20 cricket tournaments in India.
OCA CEO Subrat Kumar Behera and TCM Operations Manager, Kavya Kamaldeep told newsperons that there will be a total of 6 teams playing 33 matches across 17 days. All matches will be played at the Dreams College Cricket Ground.
The six teams are —Odisha Tigers, Odisha Panthers, Odisha Cheetahs, Odisha Pumas, Odisha Lions and Odisha Jaguars.The tournament will feature marquee players from Odisha such as Subhranshu Senapati who played for CSK in the IPL 2023.
The tournament also features other marquee players like Biplab Samantray, Tarani Sa, Govind Poddar and Suryakant Pradhan who have represented Odisha in the Ranji Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy.The tournament will be played in a double-leg league format, each team playing 10 matches in the league stage followed by the Semi Finals & Finals.
