Rahane contributes Rs 10 lakh in fight against COVID-19

Mumbai: India Test team vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane also did his little bit by contributing an amount of Rs 10 lakh to the Maharastra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This is just my tiny bit and a drop in the ocean. Will do my best to support in this difficult time. Meanwhile stay home stay safe,” Ajinkya Rahane tweeted.

Among others who have donated are Sachin Tendulkar, Suresh Raina with Rs 50 lakh and Rs 52 lakh respectively.
Sixteen-year-old all-rounder Richa Ghosh, who was part of team India in the Women’s T20 World Cup earlier this month was also generous giving Rs 1 lakh to the Bengal Chief Minister’s relief fund for the fight against the disease.
Maharashtra is one of the worst-affected states battling the novel coronavirus. (UNI)
