Vadodara: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar turned back the clock with a scintillating half-century against Australia Masters in the International Masters League T20 2025 at the BCA Stadium.
Chasing a daunting 270-run target, India Masters got off to a flying start, courtesy of Tendulkar’s vintage strokeplay. The Master Blaster treated the spectators to a spectacular display, smashing four sixes and seven fours en route to his 27-ball fifty. He took on Ben Hilfenhaus early on before launching into Ben Laughlin and Xavier Doherty, showcasing glimpses of his iconic aggressive batting.
Earlier, Australia Masters, powered by explosive centuries from Shane Watson and Ben Dunk, posted a mammoth 269/1. Watson, in sublime form throughout the tournament, hammered a 52-ball 110, while Dunk blazed his way to 132 off 53 deliveries, leaving the Indian bowlers without answers.
