In a horrifying incident that has left the entire Hisar district stunned, two students of Kartar Memorial Senior Secondary School in Bans Badshahpur village allegedly stabbed their school principal to death—on the sacred day of Guru Purnima.
The attack took place inside the school premises earlier Thursday and has sent shockwaves across the region, tarnishing the sanctity of the teacher-student relationship celebrated across India on this very day.
Students Attacked Principal with Knife
According to early reports, the two accused students - studying in Classes 11 and 12 - attacked Principal Jagbir Singh with a knife. The motive behind the attack appears to be an internal conflict or disciplinary action, though the exact reason is yet to be confirmed.
The school staff rushed the injured principal to a private hospital in Hisar, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Accused Students Identified, But Missing
Both accused students have been identified by the authorities and are reportedly minors. After committing the brutal act, they fled the scene. A search operation is currently underway to apprehend them.
