A disturbing case was reported from Madhya Pradesh where a man accused his friend of forcing him into having a sex-change operation, raping him and blackmailing him for money. The man is reportedly transitioning to become a woman through a sex-change procedure.
As per the complainant in the FIR, his friend allegedly performed “black magic" to control him and have physical relations with him forcefully.
"The complainant has said that he was friends with a man, a resident of Narmadapuram, for the past few years. They entered into a physical relationship; he says that the accused used to do ‘black magic’ on him," Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Malkeet Singh told news agency ANI.
The police official said the accused pressured him to undergo a sex-change procedure under the false pretext of marriage. At the friend’s insistence, the victim went to a clinic in Indore and underwent a sex-change procedure in November last year.
"The victim claims that he (accused) locked him up at his residence in Narmadapuram for 10 days and had physical relations forcefully. Since the victim underwent sex-change, currently become a woman and are still being violated," he said.
The victim also claimed that the man was blackmailing him and demanding money.
A zero FIR has been registered at Bhopal’s Gandhinagar police station and the case was transferred to Narmadapuram.
“According to the complaint letter, it is clear that they had physical relations before sex change as well as after, though the victim mentioned that he (the accused) made physical relations forcefully each time. A case has been registered under the relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyay Sahita (BNS), including that of rape and extortion," said the ADCP.
