Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday evening began his 45-hour long meditation at Vivekananda Rock Memorial at mid sea in Tamil Nadu's Kanyakumari.
He is meditating at the "dhyan mandapam", the same spot where Swami Vivekananda meditated for three days and nights in 1892 until he attained “enlightenment.”
The iconic memorial, built in 1970 in honour of Swami Vivekananda attracts thousands of tourists every year from all over the country and abroad.
BJP on Friday shared some glimpses from PM Modi’s meditation session in Kanyakumari.
PM will leave for New Delhi via Trivandrum after completing his meditation, the sources added.
It may be recalled that the PM had meditated in a holy cave near the Kedarnath shrine at Uttarakhand in May 2019 after the polling concluded for the 17th Lok Sabha election.
