Uttar Pradesh Shocker! Frustrated with constant pain, man performs surgery on his stomach after watching YouTube tutorials, applies 11 stitches, ends up in hospital (VIDEO)
A young man in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura took drastic measures to alleviate his abdominal pain by performing surgery on himself after watching YouTube tutorials. Unfortunately, his condition worsened, and he had to be hospitalized.
According to reports, Raja Babu (32), from Vrindavan, had been experiencing abdominal pain for months. He had consulted doctors multiple times but found no relief. Frustrated with the constant pain, he decided to perform surgery on himself. After watching videos on YouTube, he purchased surgical supplies like a surgical blade, stitching materials, and anesthetic injections from a medical store.
On Wednesday morning, he attempted the surgery on himself in his room. He gave himself anesthesia and cut open his stomach. He even tried to remove "something" from his stomach, but he was unable to do so and he stitched it up with 11 stitches. However, when the effect of the anesthesia wore off, he started experiencing intense pain and went outside screaming.

His relatives rushed him to the district hospital. Due to the severity of his condition, he was referred to SN Medical College in Agra after receiving first aid. As per reports, Raja Babu's condition is currently stable, and his treatment continues.
This incident highlights the dangers of self-medication and the importance of seeking proper medical attention. It also raises concerns about the reliance on online tutorials for medical procedures.
