The victim made these shocking claims after she somehow escaped from his captivity and reached her home in Kondagaon.
The accused has been identified as Firoz, a native of Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh, who worked in a factory in Mumbai. He has been arrested from Uttar Pradesh.
The incident was reported from a village in the Makdi police station area, Kondagaon district, Bastar division.
As per police, the victim told them that during 2023, Firoz would frequently call her and would ask her to meet him, but she would decline.
The victim said, when her health deteriorated, she traveled to Kondagaon for treatment. Somehow, Firoz learnt about this and followed her. Firoz broke a bottle and placed it around her neck before kidnapping her and took her to Mumbai. He seized her phone, and held her captive in a dark room in Dharavi slum.
The victim further said that Firoz sent a message to her family through her phone: “I am safe. I am in love with a boy and want to marry him. Don’t worry about me.”

She added that he would tie her hands and legs with a cloth before leaving for work. She further stated that he used to pull her hair and brutally thrash her. He even deprived her of food. The girl claimed that since she did not know anyone in Dharavi, she endured Firoz’s brutalities for months.
The victim claimed that for over 1.5 years, Firoz raped her multiple times and he would mercilessly beat her if she refused him. Three months ago, when she stopped him from raping her again, Firoz allegedly poured chemicals into her private part and burnt it.
Detailing how she managed to escape Firoz’s captivity, the victim said that one day, Firoz forgot his mobile at his home. She found the number of the owner of the factory where the Firoz worked. The victim called him and revealed her ordeal. The factory-owner helped the victim escape and she reached the railway station. From there, the victim reached her native village in Kondagaon and informed her family about Firoz’s brutality. Subsequently, the victim lodged an FIR against the accused.
