Mumbai: If we leave 2 movies hardly any flick made an impact on box office in October. In fact, it was a disastrous run for the other filmmakers as two mega-budget movies grabbed holiday release and got the major chunk of collections.
On 2nd October Hrithik Tiger starrer action thriller WAR had record opening on 2nd October. Later Housefull 4 made the most of Diwali holidays despite huge negative publicity. These are the movies which were sandwiched between the two movies.

1- The Sky is Pink
Starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim  "The Sky is Pink" was applauded by the critics but failed miserably at box office. Directed by Shonali Bose, the movie collected a meagre 20 cr in 2 weeks at BO.

2- Lal Kaptaan
The same goes with Saif Ali Khan starrer Lal Kaptaan. The revenge drama in the backdrop of British era did not farewell. The lean patch of chhote Nawab was elongated when the movie's lifetime collection was confined to 3 crores. It was the new low for Taimur's dad.

3- Saand Ki Aankh
Based on the life of Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar, grandmothers from Baghpat, who were both ace shooters and earned accolades for their shooting skills, the movie had a Diwali release which didn't help the producer much.

Tapsee Pannu and Bhumi Padenekar starrer Saand Ki Aankh collected only 11  crore in the first week and things look bleak in the second week.

4 Made in China
Likewise, Saand Ki Aankh, Rajkumar Rao and Mauni Roy starrer Made in China had a festive release. However, the movie neither gathered praises from critics nor money from Box office.

The movie collected 11 crores in the first week and with no mouth publicity screens were fortified.

The other low profile films like "Lootcase" P se pyar F se Farar" "Life me time nahi hai kisi ko" went unnoticed due to "WAR" storm . Later Housefull 4 added salts to the wound.
