Ready for arrest and consequences if loving someone is a crime: Rhea Chakraborty

Pune: As the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) whisked away Rhea Chakraborty on Sunday for a likely confrontation with brother Showik, her Lawyer Satish Maneshinde curtly remarked, “Rhea is ready for arrest as this is a witch-hunt”.

A team of NCB officials and Mumbai Police reached Rhea’s home in the morning, and asked her to join the probe today. Her car was escorted to the NCB office by three vehicles of the Mumbai Police.
Meanwhile, Rhea defended herself saying, “Loving someone is not a crime. I will face consequences for love. Being innocent I have not approached court for anticipatory bail.”
In the latest move, the NCB arrested Dipesh Sawant, the domestic help of the late actor, Showik and Samuel Miranda for their alleged role in the procurement and handling of drugs. (UNI)
