Actress Neha Dhupia to judge Miss India contestants

Femina Miss India’s title is the prestigious crown that most girls look up to.This year the pageant has gone online in the wake of the novel virus CoVid-19. The girls had to upload their entries on the Roposo app that is the sponsor for this year along with Sephora.
The girls will be selected on the basis of the entries they send in along with their pictures. Later, 31 contestants will be finalized, chosen from the 28 Indian states, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir and one collective participant from all the Union Territories. They will be groomed under the guidance of Miss India 2002, Neha Dhupia who will guide the contestants towards the
much-coveted tiara.
Neha Dhupia has been chosen to prepare the girls this year because of her experience in the industry and also that she’s been among the top 10 finalists for Miss Universe the same year she was crowned Miss India in 2002.
India has given the world numerous beauty ambassadors who participated in the a fore mentioned contest. They came from all walks of life, from engineering to medicine or even law and then later went on to pursue careers other than Bollywood like marketing, business, children welfare, writing and many more.
However, our Miss India 2002 chose to continue on the same path and debuted in Bollywood a year later after the crowning ceremony with the movie Qayamat – City under threat. She rose to fame with her role Julie.
She later went on to work in many films during the course of her career of over 15 years. She’s been nominated for various supporting actressawards and won a few, for roles that she played alongside some big shots of the industry like John Abraham, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif.
Some of her famous works include Chup Chup ke(2006), Singh is King(2008), Maharathi(2008), Ek chalees ki last local(2007) and Dasvidaniyan(2008). She played Eva Braun in Dear friend Hitler based on Mahatma Gandhi.
Neha Dhupia has not only made her presence in the Bollywood industry but has done some notable work in Indian television too. She has hosted a few reality shows like MTV Roadies, Comedy Circus and has also judged some of them.
The Qayamat famed actress was dating actor Angad Bedi and later decided to tie the knot in May 2018 at a private ceremony in a Gurudwara. She gave birth to a daughter in November 2018.
