Brace yourself for Hindi 'RRR', it's coming to these OTT platforms from tomorrow!

New Delhi: SS Rajamouli's mammoth fiery epic “RRR” is finally ready to stream on Netflix, with the movie's Hindi version of the film alongside Shahid Kapoor's new film “Jersey” premiering on May 20.

Netflix India on its Twitter handle announced the “RRR” (Hindi) premier. Posting the Hindi poster they wrote “You said you couldn't wait to see them and WE COULDN'T EITHER!! RRR ARRIVES ON NETFLIX IN JUST 1?3? ?d?a?y?s? ? 24 HOURS.”

S.S Rajamouli talking about his film coming on Netflix said, “It was exhilarating to see RRR being received well with audiences, not just in India but also internationally. We are excited to now take RRR to film lovers in over 190 countries with Netflix. Nowadays, content is breaking language barriers and tapping into audiences around the world- and Netflix will give RRR a platform to do just that!"
After proving to be a mega blockbuster hit at the box office, “RRR” Hindi version will stream on Netflix from May 20, 2022- 12:00 PM IST.
The Telugu historical fan fiction action epic multi-starrer action drama, starring NTR Jr, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, is amongst the most acclaimed Indian films of the year and has got a brilliant reception not just in India but also abroad with some reviewers going as far as to compare the size and grandeur of the film to “Ben Hur” (1959).
The film was released on March 25 in multiple languages and managed to gross over Rs 1100 crore worldwide.
The film has been highly acclaimed for bringing in the finest of performances, grandest action, brilliant artwork and aesthetics, stunning and tantalizing visuals, gripping songs along with a creatively fascinating storyline that by its box office collection and unanimously positive reception seems to have echoed greatly with Indian audiences despite any regional or language differences and even managed to entertain foreign audiences thoroughly.
Netflix continues to attract a global audience for its Indian films. This week, half of the films featured in Netflix's Global Non-English Top 10 are from India. This is a first for any country globally since the launch of the Global Top 10 in 2021.
