Shimla: IIT Mandi former director Trimurti Gonsalves's daughter Kartika Gonsalves was conferred with US's 95th academy awards for short category man-animal documentary Sunday.
Notably, Trimurti Gonsalves was founding director of IIT Mandi.
Kartiki Gonsalves and Guneet Monga's Netflix documentary short, The Elephant Whisperers, has won the Oscar for Best Documentary Short category at the 95th Academy Awards.
The documentary depicts man animal bond for each others and it is Third documentary of Kartika and Guneet which hits on Netflix and shortlisted for Oscar award. (UNI)
