Mumbai: A special teaser of the upcoming film '120 Bahadur' will be released on the occasion of melody queen Lata Mangeshkar's birth anniversary on September 28, the film's producers said.
The Hindi war film starring Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh tells the story of the heroic resistance of 120 Indian soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment against a much larger Chinese force during the Battle of Rezang La in the 1962 Sino-Indian War.
The first teaser of the film has been winning hearts on social media and in trade circles ever since it arrived. Following an overwhelming response, the makers are now ready to release the second teaser on September 28, Lata Mangeshkar's birth anniversary.
The late singer was famed for her patriotic songs, especially 'Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon', which commemorated the sacrifices of Indian soldiers in the 1962 India-China war. Lata first performed this song on Republic Day, January 26, 1963, deeply moving then prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
The upcoming teaser of 120 Bravehearts pays tribute to the brotherhood, patriotism and bravery of the 120 soldiers of Charlie Company.
Farhan Akhtar said, "It's incredibly special to present Teaser 2 of '120 Bahadur' on Lata Mangeshkar's birth anniversary. Directed by Razneesh 'Rezi' Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment) and Amit Chandra (Trigger Happy Studios), 120 Bahadur will release in theatres on November 21, 2025.
