COVID-19: India logs 12,751 new cases, 42 deaths in 24 hrs

New Delhi: A total of 12,751 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in India, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Health Ministry, the total caseload rose to 4,41,74,650 while the toll touched 5,26,772 as 42 more succumbed to the disease.
Recoveries rose to 4,35,16,071 as 16,412 people recovered from the disease. The recovery rate stands at 98.51 per cent.
The active caseload stands at 1,31,807, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 87.85 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
India has administered 206.88 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive. (UNI)
