COVID-19: India records 2,288 new cases, 10 deaths in last 24 hrs

New Delhi: As many as 2,288 people tested positive for Covid-19 across the country, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
According to the Ministry's bulletin, the total caseload rose to 4,31,07,689 while the death toll rose to 5,24,103 as 10 more people succumbed to the disease.
Meanwhile, 3,044 people recovered from the disease, taking the total tally to 4,25,63,949. The recovery rate currently stands at 98.74 per cent.
The active caseload stands currently at 19,637, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 84.15 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
India has administered 190.50 of crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive. (UNI)
