COVID-19: India records 3,205 new cases, 31 deaths in past 24 hrs

New Delhi: India reported 3,205 new Covid-19 cases, the Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Ministry, the total caseload rose to 4,30,88,118 while the death toll rose to 5,23,920 as 31 more succumbed to the disease.
Total 2,802 more people recovered from the disease, taking the total tally to 4,25,44,689. The recovery rate stands at 98.74 per cent.
The active caseload currently stands at 19,509, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 83.89 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
India has administered 189.48 of crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive. (UNI)
