COVID-19: India records 4,129 new cases, active caseload dips to 43,415

New Delhi: India recorded 4,129 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of active caseload to 43,415 as per the Health Ministry data on Monday.
As many as 7 fresh fatalities were reported, taking the toll to 5,28,530. A total of 4,688 patients recovered, taking total recoveries to 4,40,00,298 as the national recovery rate stood at 98.72 per cent. According to the bulletin, 89.38 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far. In the last 24 hours, a total of 1,64,377 tests have been conducted.
"India has administered 217.68 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine (94.78 crore second dose and 20.44 crore precaution dose) so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive," Ministry data said. (UNI)
