COVID-19: India reports 1,569 new cases, 19 deaths in 24 hrs; active cases decline to 16,400

New Delhi: India has registered 1,569 new Covid-19 cases during the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Ministry, the total caseload rose to 4,31,25,370 while the death toll rose to 5,24,260 as 19 more succumbed to the disease.
On the other side, 2,467 more people recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 4,25,84,710.
The recovery rate stands at 98.75 per cent. The active caseload stands at 16,400, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 84.44 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
India has administered 191.48 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive. (UNI)
