COVID: India logs 7,350 new cases, 202 deaths in last 24 hrs

New Delhi: India has recorded 7,350 new Covid-19 cases and 202 deaths in the past 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Monday.
According to a bulletin issued by the Ministry, the total caseload rose to 3,46,97,860, while the death toll rose to 4,75,636 as 202 succumbed to the virus.
On the other hand, 7,973 more people have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 3,41,30,768.
The recovery rate stands at 98.37 per cent, highest since March last year.
The active caseload now stands at 91,456 less than one per cent of the total cases, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 65.66 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
India has administered 133.17 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive. (UNI)
