COVID-19: Cases near 1000-mark in India, death toll increases to 25

New Delhi: As the countrywide lockdown entered Day 5, India on Sunday confirmed a total of 979 cases of Novel Coronavirus.
Fresh cases were reported from several parts of the country, with death toll mounting to 25.
Number of active cases in the country at present amount to 867, the Health ministry confirmed, while claiming of screening around 15,24,266 passengers at the airport.
The government said that a total of 86 people have so far been cured of the virus and subsequently discharged, while one person has migrated. (UNI)
