New Delhi:Taking moral responsibility for the party's crushing defeat in the just held assembly polls, Delhi Congress chief Subhash Chopra on Tuesday tendered his resignation.According to sources, though Chopra has quit, yet, the party high command has not accepted his resignation.
Mr Chopra, who was appointed Delhi Congress president for the third time in October last year, during a press conference earlier in the day, said that he worked hard to strengthen the party after becoming the president and also had complete support of party workers."So morally I am responsible for this", he asserted.

The Congress party was unable to win even a single seat in 70-member Delhi assembly, today. Out of 67 candidates of the grand old party, that contested the elections, 63 of them even lost their security deposits.
