New Delhi: Delhiites will experience hot day on Sunday as the maximum temperature is likely to settle over 40 degrees Celsius, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The minimum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius, while the relative humidity recorded at 0830 hours was 55 per cent, the weather office said.
"The sky will remain clear during the day. The maximum temperature will hover around 41 degrees Celsius," the IMD said in its forecast.
On Saturday, the maximum temperature was 39.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal.
The IMD said the heat wave is likely to return in Delhi from May 9. (UNI)
