The accused had been shot dead in an "encounter" by the police at Chatanpally early in the current month and their bodies were preserved at the Gandhi Hospital.

Disha had been gang-raped and killed allegedly by the four accused and later set her body ablaze near Shadnagar on November 27.

The Court wanted the re-post-mortem be carried out by the forensic experts of Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and after the autopsy the bodies may be handed over to their relatives.

Gandhi Hospital Superintendent Sharavan told the court during the  hearing  that the bodies would be completely decomposed in a week.He said that 50 per cent of the bodies of the accused had already been decomposed.

It may be mentioned that the Supreme Court had ordered setting up of a three-member inquiry commission to probe the "encounter" and stayed proceedings before the High Court and the National Human Rights Commission until further orders.(UNI)
