PM Modi holds bilateral talks with Bangladesh Chief Advisor Mohd Yunus

Bangkok/New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held bilateral talks with Bangladesh Chief Advisor Mohd Yunus in Bangkok, Thailand, today, marking the first highest-level meeting between the two countries after formation of the army-backed Interim Government in Dhaka.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Summit, was attended on the Indian side by NSA Ajit Doval, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, and the MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, according to visuals of the meeting, shared by the MEA External Publicity Division.

The two leaders shook hands before beginning the bilateral meeting.
