Sonia Gandhi admitted to Sir Gangaram hospital with stomach infection

New Delhi: Congress president Sonia Gandhi was this evening admitted to the Sir Gangaram hospital with stomach infection, the hospital said. The hospital said that Mrs Gandhi, who was suffering from stomach infection, is under observation.
According to Dr DS Rana, Chairman (Board of Management) at the Sir Gangaram hospital, 'Mrs Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. "Mrs Sonia Gandhi has been brought to the hospital today evening at 5 PM. She has been found to be suffering from stomach infection. Mrs Gandhi has been admitted for observation." Sources said Mrs Gandhi, who was on an a visit to Shimla, had to cut short her visit and rushed to Delhi after she fell unwell. (UNI)
