Lucknow: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi, who has thrown his hat in the electoral battle of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, claimed that his party would emerge as a big force after the polls. Talking to the reporters here, Mr Owaisi said BJP has lost its sheen in the UP elections as there was no other face of the party except for the PM.
The three-time MP from Hyderabad, Mr Owaisi said,'The ruling Samajwadi Party has already lost the elections and now the SP-Congress leaders are speaking out of frustration." 'SP is on the death bed but it is blaming me for their defeat which is unfortunate," he stated. However defending the Muslim clerics' fatwa to the people to vote for certain political parties, he said there was no religious guru in Islam, however these Maulanas have the right to give their support to any political outfit they want.
