Bhopal: Almost Rs 1 cr found at MP govt clerk’s home, he consumes phenol during EOW search

Bhopal: Approximately Rs 1 crore in cash and several documents pertaining to movable/immovable property were seized during a raid on Wednesday at the local residence of a Madhya Pradesh Health Department clerk, EOW sources said.

The search commenced at Bairagarh early in the day and continued till late evening. The action against Hero Keswani was taken in the wake of a disproportionate assets-related complaint.

The accused attempted to pressurize the officials by consuming phenol. He was rushed to the city-based Hamidia Hospital and is stated to be out of danger. (UNI)
