COVID-19: Maha Govt prohibits religious, social & political gatherings from Monday

Mumbai: In view of the rising Covid-19 cases, religious, social and political gatherings in the state will be prohibited from Monday till further orders, announced Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday.

While addressing the people of the state, he said that the decision to implement another lockdown lies in the hands of public while the government will launch ‘I am responsible’ campaign.

He appealed the public to wear face masks and maintain social distance in order to avoid another lockdown in the state. (UNI)
