Drive against ‘sextortion’ in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: Emphasising that uncompromising action will be initiated vis-a-vis sextortion cases that have come to light in Madhya Pradesh, state Home Minister Narottam Mishra said on Tuesday that related directives are being issued to the Cyber Cell.

“I appeal to victims to make the authorities cognisant of such matters without harbouring trepidation. Justice shall be delivered while safeguarding identity,” he told the press here.

In the context of ensuring proper management of government and privately-owned cowsheds, the Minister said that an official each shall be given this specific responsibility in every district. (UNI)
