Mumbai: Indian captain Virat Kohli on Monday put an end to all speculations that there is any difference between him and his deputy Rohit Sharma, who was in the queue for the Captain's position.
Addressing mediapersons, before leaving for the West Indies tour, Kohli clarified that no difference of opinion exists in the team with Coach Ravi Shastri pitching in and dismissing such reports as 'nonsense'.

Several reports have claimed that all is not well between  Kohli and Rohit, who was also reportedly in contention for the captain's post in the shorter formats of the game.
The selection panel has retained Kohli as skipper in all formats for the upcoming Caribbean tour.

When asked about bad blood between him and the team, Virat said, "In the last few days, I have also heard this. All this we listen from outside. But I want to tell you that if the atmosphere inside the team wasn't good, then we wouldn't have performed this well in every format of the game as we are constantly doing. The dressing room environment is very good and this is the reason why our performance remains consistent."

Indian Coach Ravi Shastri sternly said, ''The team is doing well in all formats and this continuity is due to a good team environment. He described all such reports as 'nonsense'.''The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had issued a statement on Sunday  that Virat alone will address the press conference before embarking on the tour , but coach Ravi Shastri joined him later on as deemed necessary. The West Indies tour is the last stint of Ravi Shastri as Indian Team's coach.(UNI)
