A new sex scandal, similar to Karnataka’s infamous Prajwal Revanna case, has now come to light in Uttar Pradesh. Around 130 obscene videos of the son of a BJP Mahila Morcha Mandal president from Mainpuri district have gone viral on social media. This has created a stir in political circles. So far, the BJP has remained silent, while opposition parties are strongly criticizing the party.
Videos Made in Hotels and Restaurants
According to reports, the videos were recorded in various hotels and restaurants in the city. In these clips, the young man is seen in objectionable positions with a woman.
The BJP leader's son has been embroiled in disputes with his wife for four years over his alleged misconduct. He reportedly used to mentally torture her by showing these videos. It is also claimed that he tried to burn her with a cigarette recently. The wife had complained to the police, but due to political pressure, the case was not taken forward.
The woman in the videos is also married, but she has separated from her husband.
Opposition Targets BJP
The BJP has maintained silence on the issue, with officials from the women's wing to the district organization refusing to comment. Meanwhile, the opposition parties are attacking the BJP over this issue.
Samajwadi Party (SP) district president Alok Shakya said, “The truth about BJP leaders is being exposed. The public will teach them a lesson in the next elections. SP stands with the victim and will fight for her justice.”
Congress district president Gopal Kulshreshtha said, “BJP says Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, but their actions are opposite. If justice is not given to the victim, Congress will protest on the streets.”
BSP district president Manish Sagar said, “It is not right for a married man to have relations with another woman and make such videos. BJP must take action in this case.”
