COVID-19: India logs 30,757 new cases, 541 deaths in 24 hrs

New Delhi: India has recorded 30,757 new Covid-19 cases during the past 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Ministry, the total caseload rose to 4,27,54,315, while the death toll rose to 5,10,413 as 541 succumbed to the disease.
On a positive note, 67,538 more people have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 4,19,10,984.
The recovery rate stands at 98.03 per cent. The active caseload stands at 3,32,918, the figures showed.
As per the bulletin, 75.55 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
India has administered 174.24 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive. (UNI)
