COVID-19: India records 15,754 new cases, active caseload jumps to 1,01,830

New Delhi: As many as 15,754 more people tested positive for Covid-19 in India, the Health Ministry said on Friday.

The total caseload rose to 4,43,14,571 while the toll rose to 5,27,206 so far as 47 more succumbed to the disease.

On the other hand, 15,220 people recuperated from the disease, taking the tally to 4,36,85,535. The recovery rate stands at 98.58 per cent.

The active caseload stands at 1,01,830, the figures showed.

As per the bulletin, 88.18 crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.

India has administered 209.27 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive. (UNI)
