COVID-19: India records 16,103 new cases, active caseload crosses 1.11 lakh mark

New Delhi: India recorded 16,103 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of active caseload to 1,11711, as per the Health Ministry data on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the total cases recorded across the country since the pandemic began stood at 4,34,69,234.
As many as 31 fresh fatalities were also recorded, taking the total death count in the country, as a result of coronavirus, to 5,25,199.
Meanwhile, 13,929 recoveries were reported, increasing the total number of recoveries to 4,28,65,519, whereas the national Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.54 percent.
According to the ministry's bulletin, 86.36 Crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far. (UNI)
