COVID-19: India reports 18,313 new cases, 57 deaths in last 24 hrs

New Delhi: The country recorded 18,313 more cases of Covid-19 taking the total tally to 4,39,38,764 so far, the Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
According to the bulletin the overall toll rose to 5,26,167 with 57 more deaths from the disease.
There were 20,742 recoveries from the disease taking the tally of those who beat the virus so far to 4,32,67,571. The recovery rate stands at 98.47 per cent.
The active caseload stands at 1,45,026, the Ministry data showed.
There were 87.36 crore tests for Covid-19 conducted so far.
The government has administered 202.79 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive. (UNI)
