Rise in COVID-19 cases continues, India logs 3,275 new cases in last 24 hrs

New Delhi: Steady rise in Covid-19 cases continued in India, as the Health Ministry data on Thursday showed 3,275 new coronavirus cases taking the overall caseload to 4,30,91,393 since January 30, 2020.

As per the bulletin issued by the government, the toll from the pandaemic rose to 5,23,975 with 55 more patients succumbing to the virus.

In the past one day, data showed 3,010 more people recovered from the disease, taking the total tally to 4,25,47,699, as the recovery rate stood at 98.74 per cent. The active caseload stands at 19,719, the figures showed.

According to the bulletin, 83.93 crore tests for Covid-19 have been conducted so far since the pandemic broke out, while 189.63 crore vaccines have been administered since January 2021. (UNI)
