Talking to reporters here, Dr Sarma said, "We have been consulting with all our MLAs (in Manipur). The discussion is in a very, very positive way. We will get a good result in 2-3 days."
The senior BJP minister in the Assam government had visited Imphal yesterday and is likely to go again tomorrow in an apparent bid to tackle attempts to dislodged the BJP-led coalition government in Manipur.
"In the spirit of the NEDA and the NDA, everything will be resolved," Dr Sarma added.Pointing to the BJP nominee's victory in the Rajya Sabha election in Manipur last week, Dr Sarma said the result has changed the picture in the state.
Altogether nine MLAs, including four National People's Party (NPP) legislators and three BJP legislators, had withdrawn support from the government prior to the Rajya Sabha polls, with the BJP MLAs going on to join the Opposition Congress there.
However, the Congress nominee for the Rajya Sabha seat was defeated by the
