Built over two years at a cost of nearly Rs 4 lakh, the modified car leaves onlookers stunned and has gone viral on social media. Crafted in his modest Tarzan Garage, the car has become a symbol of desi innovation and dedication.
Inspired by ‘Tarzan: The Wonder Car’
For many who grew up in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Tarzan: The Wonder Car was more than just a movie — it was a dream. Arif was one of those dreamers. Working as a car mechanic for over a decade, he always aspired to build his own “Tarzan car.” So deep was his passion that he adopted the nickname “Tarzan.” That childhood dream finally took shape when he decided to reimagine a humble Maruti 800 into a supercar-inspired masterpiece.
Two Years of Hard Work, Built by Hand
Instead of relying on a big factory or advanced workshop, Arif worked out of his small garage. Over two years, he personally handled everything — from body cutting and welding to detailing and finishing touches. Only a few components like the music system, LED lights, and windshield were sourced externally. The rest of the transformation was completed with his own hands, skill, and creativity.
